Day 4

Eligibility: UG medical students ( 1st year to CRRI )

Registration: Team of 2 (Lone wolves are also welcome). Registrations should be done in the website and abstracts must be submitted in the website displayed on or before Jan 17th, 2026. 

RESEARCH PROPOSALS: Only novel proposals will be considered. Ongoing projects are acceptable, but completed research projects will not be accepted.

EVALUATION CRITERIA: Proposals will be assessed based on: 

1. Novelty
2. Practicality
3. Feasibility
4. Relevance
5. Accuracy
6. Adherence to scientific principles

Abstract submission:

Abstracts can be submitted after creating profile and can pay later under My Profile section. Paid abstracts will only be considered.

The abstracts will undergo preliminary evaluation for AI-generated content, plagiarism, authenticity and adherence to scientific standards. Top 10 finalists will be selected.

Format for abstract:

- Title (25 words) 

- Introduction (300 words) 

- Objectives (100 words max.) 

- Methodology (800 words)

- Implications/outcome (100 words) 

- References (Vancouver style - 300 words max.)

Abstract specifics:

- Format - Word Document 

- Font size -12 

- Title size -14 

- Line spacing -1.5 

- Font -Times New Roman 

- Word limit-1625 words 

- Word file-named as 'title of the study’

• Submit the abstract as pdf/word document ( <10mb). Also, submit an Ethics Committee approval letter as pdf (<10mb) as a separate file.
