Genesis is a premier National Academic Conference for undergraduate medical students, proudly hosted by the Academic and Scientific Research Committees of Madras Medical College.

The first two days are devoted to high-intensity specialty workshops led by distinguished clinicians across diverse disciplines — from advanced procedural skills and emergency care to technology-driven modules such as medical VR, AI-assisted diagnostics and precision medicine.

This year, Genesis further expands its academic canvas with newly curated interdisciplinary workshops designed to integrate modern science into clinical practice. Day 3 transitions into research and scientific events, featuring case presentations, research paper presentations and academic symposia — providing an empowering platform for students to present ideas, defend evidence and contribute to the evolution of medical science. Day 4 hosts the National Conference, where keynote lectures, expert discussions and clinical knowledge exchange elevate the academic spirit of Genesis to its grand finale. At the core of the event lie the iconic Junior and Senior Genesis Quizzes — the most awaited academic battles in India, celebrated for their marathon-style rigor and ability to test mental fortitude like no other medical quiz in the country.
